DU Alumni vs. Avalanche Alumni Benefit Game - Tickets On Sale NOW!
The Colorado Avalanche Alumni Association and the University of Denver (DU) are thrilled to announce the inaugural DU Alumni vs. Avalanche Alumni in the Colorado Alumni Faceoff Benefit Game, a family-friendly event dedicated to supporting the mission and pillars of the Association in supporting numerous community-based nonprofits through its expansive philanthropic giving and scholarship program.
The game will take place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Magness Arena on the DU campus, with the puck dropping at 5:00 PM. A Pre-Game Festival will kick off the festivities at 3:00 PM outside Magness Arena, featuring food, music, raffles, auctions, autograph opportunities, and more.
With appearances from Hall of Famers Joe Sakic and Pierre Turgeon along with Milan Hejduk, and a list of other DU and NHL alumni like Mark Rycroft, Brett Skinner, Joe Colbourne and Paul Stastny. Additional alumni participants from both the Colorado Avalanche and DU will be announced leading up to the event.
